CAO LANH BRIDGE

1. Project Description:
Cao Lanh Bridge is the important part of Connectivity Project of Mekong Delta. The project includes 02 Cable-stayed bridges which are Cao Lanh Bridge (across Tien River) and Vam Cong Bridge (across Hau River) with total length of 5,000m, and 25km of approach roads between 2 bridges. Two bridges after finished will replace current ferries at Tien River and Hau River.
Total investment of Cao Lanh bridge is USD 145 million (approximate VND 3,037 billion) by capital grant aid of Australian Government and loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Scope of project: Cao Lanh Cable-stayed Bridge is 2,015.7m long including 350m long of main span, 120 m high of pylon tower and 24.5 m wide. It has 4 lanes for motorized vehicle and 2 lanes for non-motorized vehicle. Design speed is 80 Km/h

2. Scope of consultant service:
– Making detailed design for I-beam bridges and voided-slab bridges;
– Making detailed design for 05 Super-T beam bridges, Super-T beam of approach bridge and 02 underpasses culverts.
