1. Project Description
The project is located on of Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc provinces. It includes the new part of Viet Tri Bridge which crosses Lo River in Viet Tri City, approach road at Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho sides and bridges on approach roads. New Viet Tri Bridge is class-I bridge, including 04 motorized vehicle lanes and 02 combination lanes. The total length of approach road and bridge is 3,112 m (736.5 m long of main bridge), design speed is 80Km/h, earthquake class 7. Total investment of project is more than VND 1,900 billion, in which construction cost is more than VND 1,104 billion.

Project scope: The starting point connects to new NH No.02, which belongs to Viet Xuan Commune, Vinh Tuong District, Vinh Phuc Province. It is about 1.1km far to the right from existing NH No.02 approximate 1,1 Km (at the station Km50+200 of NH No.02). The ending point is cross Lo river by New Viet Tri Bridge (270m far upstream from existing Viet Tri Bridge), in the short term, the bridge connecting to Hung Vuong street, and which connecting with Au Co street in completed stage.
Structure of main works:
The main span is continuous box girder type with pre-stressed concrete, constructed following stable cantilever method. Span of the approach bridge is Super T, bridge slab is pre-stressed concrete; Width of bridge is 22.5m (including 4 traffic lanes with B=4×3.5=14.0m; 2 combination lanes with B=2×3.0=6.0m, center median strip and safety median with B=1.5m; fence bead with B=2×0.5m=1.0m).
Railway flyover: span type is Super T, bridge slab is pre-stressed concrete; Bridge width is B=22.5m (including 4 traffic lanes with B=4×3.5=14.0m; 2 combination lanes with B=2×3.0=6.0m, center median strip and safety median with B=1.5m; fence bead with B=2×0.5m=1.0m)
Canal flyover: span type is I girder, bridge slab is pre-stressed concrete; Bridge width is sufficient with road width, expandable with scale of completion stage.
