English has been essential skill of consulting engineers in development trend of Transport industry.
Understanding its importance, in the morning of 24 October 2015, Youth Union of VEC Consultant organized the Discussion "English – The road to integration of VEC Consultant engineers’’. Board of Directors, managers of departments and crowded engineers and staffs of company participated in the discussion. This was one of the first activities of Youth Union in order to promote spirit and rouse learning movement to staffs’ company.

Firstly, training staffs shared humorous, practical comments about the role of English in work and life. With a detailed schedule for English improvement for employees, Company will hold the TOEIC test with four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing for the engineers every six months. Engineers, staffs will strive for achieving short- term and long -term target of using English ability according to the company’ task.

In the end of October, Youth Union will preside and organize the first activity of English Club. Club members will share knowledge, interact, propose opinions in order to choose themselves suitable method of learning English. This is one of the practical solutions which builds communication environment, useful, comfortable activities as to improve English level for Company’s staffs.

At the end of the discussion, experienced engineers shared sincerely and openly their meaning stories of learning and improving English process. Whereby, the young engineers of the company will easily find themselves suitable method of learning English and improve foreign language skill regularly.
 

With the integration trend, English language has global and deep influence. There are 400 million people worldwide using English as a mother tongue, more than 1 billion people using English as a second language. Starting everything is never late! And learning English is the same thing. VEC Consultant’s engineers try initiatively, actively to learn, improve English level in order to confidently assert yourself and integrate into development trend of our country.
